A fantastic opportunity to join our ESD team awaits.  Contribute to delivering a range of national projects, scopes and buildings in the built environment. With local experience, you have technical experience, are team and delivery focused and have a positive attitude and passion for growth.

You have developed a strong sustainable design understanding, experience in modelling and exposure to different industry frameworks, knowledge of mechanical solutions and buildability, to be confident communicating with clients, business partners and contributing to our team success culture.

About you

  • Have at least 3 years’ experience as an ESD engineer or equivalent

  • Experience in IES-VE, Energy Modelling for Green Star / NABERS, WELL and Section J

  • Exposure to BersPro for NatHERS and BASIX.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Engineering, Environmental Science, Architecture or equivalent sustainability related area), combined with relavent training, accreditation and practical experience

  • Knowledge of mechanical solutions, building construction and fabrics

  • Good understanding of National and State environmental and sustainability policy, legislation, Australian Standards and National Construction Code (NCC)

  • An ability to adapt to work effectively across geographical areas, to help create and promote a collaborative culture

  • Proactive and innovative approach to solutions

  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget, while maintaining excellence

  • Assist projects in the implementation monitoring and review of environmental management plans

  • Assist in regular reporting of environmental performance and energy emissions and resources information

  • Routinely demonstrate your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, project team and internal teams

  • A thirst for knowledge

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven project, organisation and time management skills

  • Use latest technology
