It pushes for individuals to think about the way they consume; for businesses to develop greener models; for farmers and manufacturers to produce more sustainably; for governments to safeguard wild spaces; for educators to inspire students to live in harmony with the Earth; and for youth to become fierce gatekeepers of a green future. It requires all of us”
Our design and engineering teams live and breathe the provision and challenges of nature all day, every day – sunshine (light, warmth, power), air (ventilation, heating, cooling), water (availability, potable, waste) and fire (prevention, minimisation).
As consultants, we have the privilege of delivering hundreds of projects each year across the country, the positive impact of our approach to design, commitment to minimise resource use across building lifecycles and ingrained Sustainable Core policy are our daily contribution #FORNATURE.
Today, BSE are going beyond our daily impact, and making these commitments:
Deliver our Sustainable Core policy on each project, providing economic environmental solutions for project partners
Minimising our resource use in our offices AND in our design and project decisions, reflected in our Environmental Policy
Continue to offer innovative solutions to project partners to reduce, reuse and recycle plant, equipment and fittings
Use Green power in our offices when available
Offset our carbon emissions for all domestic and international travel (at BSE’s expense, these costs are not passed on to our project partners)
Commit to continually improve the way we operate to minimise our environmental impact
