Overview

As part of the Australian Government’s Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan, $14.7 billion of funding was allocated to provide upgrades and refurbishments of school facilities under the Building the Education Revolution (BER) program. Just as importantly, services designed with attention to installations within school environments that were delivered with the safety of young children being the number one priority.

Scope Delivered

BSE were the services consultants on 104 of these school facilities incorporating new and refurbished libraries, multipurpose halls, covered outdoor learning areas, toilet facilities, canteens and administration buildings. Special consideration was given to sustainable systems to reduce the energy, water, material selection and waste impact of each facility.
